Their pain has gone unseen. Their Healing doesn’t have to.

Gone Unseen has a two-part mission. It’s a documentary that shares the heart-breaking stories of women hurt by abortion. It’s also a bridge for women who are still hurting, connecting them to healing resources where they can find grace, community, and peace.

This message has the power to change the face of the Abortion landscape
and bring hope and healing to millions of women.

Help us tell their story.

Abortion Divides Our Nation

But there is one fact rarely discussed:

Abortion Hurts Women.

Abortion's Emotional Toll

"That's the main reason I really started drinking was the pain that I felt after the abortion. There was so much shame, so much guilt, and there wasn't any way that I felt I could quell that unless I was drinking." - Sue

A few stats:

  • According to studies, women are 2-4 times more likely to suffer from drug and/or alcohol addiction after an abortion compared to women carried to term. 1
  • Studies also show an 81% increased risk of mental health issues for women after an abortion compared to women who carried to term.2

The Psychological Damage of Abortion

"The shame that I felt when I found out I was pregnant, but then after having the abortion, the shame was times a hundred. I mean, I didn't want anyone to see me anymore. Like no one." - Linda

Healing is Possible and Available

"I was able to go through the retreat, be with other women who had experienced abortion, and really allow myself to grieve the loss of my child. There's so much freedom in that, just so much freedom."  - Jenny

We believe that this documentary will have a profound impact:

  • Millions of women will come to know that healing is possible and they are not alone. They will have a platform to speak about the harm abortion caused them.
  • The cultural perspective of abortion will change by showing how it traumatizes women and leaves lasting damage.
